    Trouble Codes

The following tables list the possible trouble codes and trouble code descriptions you may see on various AT&T eMaintenance screens and reports.

Typically in AT&T eMaintenance, you will see a trouble code description in a field called "Trouble Type" or "Reported Trouble Type." Although the description shows on the screen, the trouble type is based upon the underlying trouble code.

When a ticket is created, the customer-encountered trouble is reported by choosing a trouble from the "Trouble Type" drop-down list on the Create Ticket screens.

The trouble type chosen on the Create Ticket screens is not changed throughout the life of the ticket (as it is based upon on an underlying trouble code), and will appear on the View/Edit Ticket screens and on the appropriate reports.
